Harrisburg Political Coordinator
Kearni N. Warren is the Harrisburg Political Coordinator for One Pennsylvania, working as a liaison between our members, legislators, and residents throughout the Commonwealth. She advocates for the rights of residents and collaborates with partner organizations and elected officials to shape policies related to environmental justice, housing, and democracy. Kearni has a diverse professional background, which includes experience in the corporate, educational, and non-profit sectors. She is committed to community leadership and engagement, and has previously worked as a youth tutor and mentor, substitute teacher, homecare union and environmental justice organizer, and political candidate. Kearni's personal experiences of witnessing racial and class disparities as a teenager and experiencing bullying and racism in school and the workplace have fueled her determination to make a difference. She brings expertise in public speaking, event planning and execution, community mobilization and organizing, and workshop facilitation. Kearni is also a Certified Zero Waste Associate, the founder of the Caregiver Society, and the author of Caregiving For A Warrior: My Life With My Mother, Rev. Bernice Warren.
